Originally from Toledo, Ohio, I spent the first eighteen years of my life plotting my escape. I've lived in Montreal, Los Angeles, Torino, Italy, and New York City.

 

In another incarnation, I danced and sang jazz. My pianist is the leader of The Duke Ellington Orchestra. I like researching and reading autobiographies —because I'm nosy like that.

 

Nocturnal at heart with a soft spot for the underdog, all of my friends are misfits and I prefer it that way. Cinema is one of the three great loves of my life.
